Darkness retreats, as light is near.
Mahagauri's glow, pure and bright,
Beauty and grace, a stunning sight.
Siddhidatri's gifts, blessings bestowed,
Perfection attained, on life's long road.
Nine forms of Shakti, divine and strong,
Banishing darkness, righting wrong.
 We bow to Durga, in reverence deep,
 Nine nights of blessings, secrets to keep.
