Nite light

The candle, lights the night away,
Keeps the darkness well at bay,
Then with the coming of the day,
In a sea of wax the black wick lay.
Job done the morn has broken,
The voice of blackbird already spoken,
An empty moon hangs as a token,
Having long spilled her night time potion.
Sunshine shall now rule the day,
To burn all the dark clouds away,
Birds eat from the garden tray,
And a gentle breeze has chimes to play.
Random notes of ding and dong,
The ding for short the dong for long,
Soon arrive other birds of song,
With their unique sounds they sing along.
Later when the sun goes down,
Children are fed and in their gown,
Soon to bed and sleeping sound,
Another night, another round.

Life is so cyclical. Ā Enjoyed the incorporation of birds in this one. Ā We love birdwatching! Ā I think many miss their beauty in colors and song... Ā Blessings!*!*!
Hi Jacki.I Ā like to include birds, the original songsters. You as a bird-watcher know how beautiful and how smart they are, thanks for reading. Cheers.
