No Jesus

Although love is terribly thought of
By me, like a rejected puppy
By the mother and equally as stupidÂ
Love is the curtain;
Â
Between the world and me
There it is filtering everything,
A cellophane, chlorine in the waterÂ
Stinging the eyes when I open them beneinth the surface.
Â
Love making me sick to the stomach!
Where others have friendsÂ
I surrender to threats.
Love is nothing but empty promises.
Â
But the death of love has been resuscitated.
I go as a believer but I'm no Jesus.
I might not know about fishingÂ
But I know how it finishes.
Â
It ends with love and me seeing clearly.

Excellent! Prime! A sad reflection
with an awesome end.Â
Do you say love is still there? Agree! There are many types of love and itâs always there. Somewhere. Perhaps in the air. Â BÂ
I like your apostrophes. I'll take em
Or in the waterÂ
Pretty clever!Â
You got me in this one.Â

With all the fish in the sea, some rods just don't get a bite, your words so very honest, love is without doubt the most subjeteral thing in my own life, so many types but the romantic type being that in which I have reflected on for many many years, there are no rules some of us have no soulmate death can be cruel leaving us without, then there's the one where we are rejected pure cruelty, yet some do survive it all anyway, maybe even hoping that the real thing, the one where we can be accepted exactly as we are that love is still in a pond somewhere waiting to jump out, after all, if it's not the real kind then it's not worth it to us is it. You got me reflecting here, super wonderful. đš
Good on ya, shirl.
Thanks for dropping by.
I can always count on you.

The problem I got with love( the romantic kind) is it is so often finite. By the friends 3rd wedding you kind of tire of the word love. But that's just me... GO YOU. Beautiful R x
