Poem -

No regret of my past

It was raining

I must be there

I have an umbrella

I decided

Not to go out

Opened the fridge

And took out meat

Cut into pieces

Put into the pan

Fried it until turned into brown

The rain cleared up

Prepared a dish so fast

I wanted to forget

Though the time looked at

My phone began to ring

I was surprised

It was not that I thought

It was raining again

I was so happy

You came in wring wet

Though you had an umbrella

I put two glasses

We talked about fried meat and

Your call given by chance

And my cancelled meeting

If you was me

I was not here

You worried about

When I forgot it

I looked out

It was raining

I smiled

You didn’t

But it was a pleasant

Rainy evening

With someone else
