~no soul island~

~no soul island~

I escaped no soul island
Leaving him standing there
Marooned in silence
Beyond his hollow stare
I couldn't survive
Another night
The tormenting scream's
Below moon weeping night
I had a plan to escape
Many years ago
Though it took a decade
For his riotous seeds
To grow
He worsened with sickness
Turning his heart black
The frightening memories
Devouring my thoughts
Looking back
I watched him basking
Within the sun
Decisions' decision's
My heart beating run
I set sail across the waves
Of the maddened sea
Listening to the scream's
Behind haunting me
His face burning
Full of flames
Standing on the shoreline
Of the land
Of wicked games
It wasn't over
But i was away
rocking within the anger
Of the sea
Leaving behind the misery
I took rest
upon that boat I built
Still stained with the blood
So often spilt
Watching rose's grow
To eventually wilt
Counting the stars
over head that night
How they twinkled
A beautiful light
Almost erasing a world
Of fright
I wept the tears
The moon used to show
Watching my heart
Continue to grow
A rose that died
It's painful death
The screaming silence
A muttered breath
Though beating my heart
Still keeps
All the horrors and those
Wicked games
His face still burning
Covered in flames
My only hope
To end this pain
open sky
And heavily rain
An end to the island
Of no soul
washing the tears
My bloodstained fall
Relinquishing the flames
Gaining full control
Peacefully drifting
out to sea
The island of horrors
Wiped from my memory
Surviving this nightmare
The haunting screams
Drifting towards the land
Of dreams .
