Poem -
no splinters here ❤
he said his heart was broken
but we found no proof
it continued to beat
through the days of his youth
said his brain was a glass cage
that shattered each day
that his body was not made
in this world to stay
but we found no proof
we found no proof at all
no glass shards in the hallway
no blood on the wall
said his smiles
were all sad smiles
but we found no proof
and his teeth were white pearls
that were so loved, so no truth
in that then.

I am not a great speller ask being me, she saved one of my titles the other day, but yeh typo's who cares it's just a kind gesture in any case to say, and don't delete your stuff I thought I was going bonkers the other day when I wrote a review about Noah's ark and the lion, it was really funny. This must be just about the saddest and most perfectest bit of poetry I have come across for a very, very long time .. I don't mind admitting that the first or the second time I read it, my eyes watered involuntarily .. I guess you caught me either off guard which I suspect unlikely, or whilst having one of my own moments .. I wish I could change things for you .. and I wish I could award more than a like x5 stars and a pin .. honest x
