No Time For Time.

For me time goes slow.
Why i do not know.
But for me it does go slow.
Slower than watching paint dry.
Slower than watching a tortoise pass by.
The hands on the clock on the wall don’t seem to move round.
Its tttiiiicccckkkkk tttooooccccckkkkkiiiiiiinnnnnnggggggg makes a very slow sound.
They say time waits for no man.
But for me it does, so on that saying my mind has put a ban.
They say time is a healer.
But for me my healing takes for ever, so to me it is a healer stealer.
Time, well to be honest i haven’t very much time for time.
I can not remember the last time i heard midday on my grandfather clock chime.
