No Title

There was a time of darkness

When my soul had no home,

The earth was a waste land,

to hold there was no hand

Nothing was to be said,

nothing to be told

There was no life,

There was no light

Everything was numb,

A gravitational pull became visible

The earth shook,

it trembled beneath my feet

A super nova arose,

a luminescence so aglow,
it lit the land, beyond all the famished

Beyond all darkness,
it brought new hope.

A flame,

Fire brighter than my deepest desire,

Blinded I was so,

Stopped dead in my numb,

Overwhelmed with the feeling,

Just to be able to feel alone.

Lost in the majesty,

So idolizing

It was thought to be blasphemy,

It left but one path to follow,

All others were destroyed.

The light of this star is shining bright

No map needed,

no wrong turn in sight

So I pace on to seek the end,

Whether or not it be the death of me,

But I believe it is my rebirth,

my beginning.
