Nobody Home

She desperately looks around,
The words tumble out of her mouth,
Each one failing to find a home,
She knows now that she’s truly alone,
Each letter of each word,
Falling down, down, down,
Left out in the open,
To be tread into the ground,
Nobody’s home to answer her call,
Nowhere to go,
But to run into a wall,
This is her prison,
The maze that reaches the ends of infinity,
Threw away all of her serenity,
Her body emanated a growing guilt,
It screamed louder than the silence that built,
She roams the darkness,
Her soul lies in Hell,
The one she made the mistake to sell,
Satan had a thirst to quench,
Her’s was the perfect soul to wrench,
She wandered off a good path,
Deterring far away,
Stumbling into the arms of Satan’s wrath,
She wanted a way out,
Gave him a good laugh,
She had a choice,
She listened to the wrong voice,
The realization pummels her,
Her eyes begin to grow moist,Â
No matter how much she calls,
Or runs into walls,
Nobody will be home,
Be home to catch her when she falls.
