The tense expectation

That proceeded

To unveil the

Noonday …

The quivering light

Of the day spun

The rippling

Surface of

His dark contemplation

Into purling patterns

Of sheer veil

The murkier reflection of his shadow

Was deeply impressing

The wings of light

As before

Oh!! Yes

The shinning veil

Of noonday

Again longing

For a new day

That would plant

A kiss between the

Sillehoutte of dark and light

In the veil of noonday

The veiling power of illusion

Creates an opossum ink

Of hallucination

Known as optical
