Northumberland❤️
Come to Northumberland
there’s magic galore
With historical castles for you to explore
Where heroic warriors battled at war
And left lifelong legacies for us to adore...

Stroll the boundless beaches all along the coast
With fortresses facing the seashores..such beauty to boast
Rolling rivers and the cheviot hills shall be your host
These northern lands are the ones I love the most...
~
Yes indeed the county of Norhumberland is the place to be
Kicking up the silky sands and paddling in the salty sea
Whilst it is a walker’s paradise where one can wander for free
The heart of my homelands and so special for me...

My parents took me there only once as a kid and remember the open green landscapes and Hadrian's Wall, but never went to this castle and looking at that great pic , who knows?
Maybe one day sooner rather than later.
