NOSTALGIA

Do you yearn for things and places of the past ?
Those precious days I hoped would always last 
Days when I wished time stood still 
Facing reality is the hardest pill 

My memories in my mind are fading away 
How I long again for that special day 
The summer day we spent in the sun 
The walk in the park was so much fun 

By writing this poem you can plainly see 
Nostalgia has overtaken all of me
