Poem -
NOT BROKEN
Lights are all out.
Silent I can hear.
Drowning out voices, nasty words stained deep within my skin.
Scares don't appear.
No time for healing.
Don't feel any love or kind words.
Time AGAIN to mend my wounds.
I have been here plenty times before.
Listen.
I am never alone.
He is with me, holding me.
Fix my eyes on the unseen. There I will see my dreams.
Close my eyes.
Breathe again and again.
My heart is NOT BROKEN.

A poem I wrote straight from how I am feeling. Within a few seconds.. at the time I felt pretty raw. I'm sure we've all felt this in some way... sometimes I feel the ones who are closer to me. Don't understand emotionally and spiritually how my soul feels. On the outside we are all fixed well... but whats happening in our core?? Soo scribbling down some words in my head helps me get my feelings out. I haven't freestyle poetry since high school. I encourage myself and others to never stop. It helps.
this is very raw...and amazing at that. I can be a very very emotional writer and some of my work spilled out in a matter of second and the relief I feel is so amazing. Really great write and welcome to Cosmo :)

Thank you for your encouragement & welcoming. I agree with you, writing is a sense of relief. This is my first time ever putting anything out there. I usually just write screw it up and carry on. This time I felt like I needed to get this piece out for people to feel emotion just like you did. Thank you :)
