Time passes so slowly

Since I lost you.

Sleep is only possible

because I still have you

safe in my dreams

Where pain and loss

does not exist.

and we still live as one.

I know I am disturbing your

new ghostly life.

And perhaps I am not

letting you go  as I should.

Tears have dried up now

I have no more left.inside.

But I still awaken

Searching for you

Next to me.

How often I pour

two cups of tea.

Just to feel you there.

I promise
