NOT THE NORM

He was a German soldier during the war 
Didn't believe in fighting I know for sure
For he was the one who was so resolute 
Refused to give the infamous Nazi salute 

Hitler soon heard of this brave young man
Who didn't conform to his master plan
Not sure what action he now must take 
For he considered him a deceitful snake 

So these men met in Munich Town Hall 
The brave man alas was the one to fall 
Beaten to a pulp by Hitler's goons 
How sad they should call the tunes
