Love Unknown

Watching at night

Missing something i lost along the way

A dream perhaps

Or the smile of a girl

That passed my eye

From my window life creeps slowly by

As i sit still just another guy in a hostel

Wanting to live

But waiting to die

Hugging my sanity

As chaos laughs

From strange places

Ive forgotten what its like to be

And as the time falls away

I ask the stars to teach me

Teach me nothing

And on that day when im nothing

When the Gods are no longer above

But within and without me

When my soul has fallen like a leaf from the tree of life

And the wind of uncertain eternity

Has lifted my soul there to the unknowable

There i will wait for you

With Angels

My long lost love

Still unknown
