Nothing Is Stopping Me

Heading out for a night on the town and watching a big show

Is something very special if you really want to know

You hit that ripe age of fifty and before you know it, you are fifty nine

Your hurting all over, including your spine

But getting all fixed up for your date of the night

You want to look pretty special so you wear something hot and you just look right

Doesn't mean you can't get out and have fun, because of your age.

It's like reading a book, you might get bored but all you have to do is turn to a new page.

When I was young all I ever wanted was to grow up as fast as I could.

If I only knew then what I know now, I would have been entertaining and travelled like I should

With all that said, it isn't stopping me.

I am not listening to my body, it is my heart and soul and it will truly guide the path that I should be.
