noToPiA

The wax is melting

noToPiA

Segregation on the playground is real

Farcical mixing at class desks is not

Mocking of accents as Anglish takes hegemony

Second gen have lost their tongue

Arabs hate their herritage ala television

3rd culture failing in navigation

Tweety grandkids of the Herald and the Sun

Faces in a book and Colonials have won

People of Other Colour still afraid of Black and White
.
.
Looking for grey cracks to absorb the blood

Looking to re- piece together the face of God

It's three score on still filled with buzz

But not enough has changed

All we've added to the pot is kinky sex on everyone's brain

Women are fitted profession corsets

And men are stripped of all their might
.
.
Kids still call un-cool things "gay"

None of our campaigns have saved the day:

Tolerance, Acceptance, a pinch of Celebration

Token food fests, music that's ethnic

A visit from an elder to make it seem hectic

Go green, be sustainable, five Rs, and solar power
.
.
Stop parliament-style bullying,

Hug a vanishing tree

Bla bla bla and goodness gracious me!

We rub every bottle in the sea

It sounds plastic fantastic

But still no magic ginnie to set us free

And I feel I need another shower
.
.
Don't touch what you can't afford

But you can afford to look like an influencer

All thanks to after pay and credit card
.
.
Go natural and you be you

But stick on a penis with superglue

Or lop your balls and stud your jaws

Don't fall in love but fall hard

And leave the orphaned children scarred

Thanks Marion

I am sad and frustrated about the causes of this sadness... but yes, the sadness is a fruit of anger at the root, an anger that feels powerless to effect change or even affect changes already made.

STUNNING!!......an absolutely beautifully woven piece of poetic truth that is quite difficult to swallow for the many......but this (for me) is what great poetry is all about......the ability to flawlessly, honestly, and most insightfully ~ Enlighten!!....or at least deliver that "slap in the face" to wake up one or two who happen upon this page!!......PINNED for having big balls brother!!......BRAVO!!......LOVE & ROCKETS!!......T xo  : )

Yes, I hope more people do wake up from the "Woke" spell. Language is so fickle isn't it. Thanks my dear bro Tony!
