Poem -

November Short

Remember how meltingly you pressed your fingertips into the apex of my sheath?Ā
You rocked with its cadence.Ā

A slow-dancing chinook sea.

Ā

How did my frost feel between our body heat?

Ā

Remember how you kept reaching for the fringe of my hem as I slipped away?

I could always see you perched at the fog-dripped window.

My throat couldn't stretch a yell.

Ā

I lowered the shade upon your image,

sharp and motionless.

Ā

I am so glad that something made me visit this page and all that it contains ..
Maybe it was the fact I found the title captivating & it served as some kind of literary lure ..
Whatever the case, I was certainly not disappointed ..
On the contrary, I was .. and even as I type this initial response remain delighted and now both suspect and hope your 'November Short' will be the first of many such visits ..

With seasonal Kind Regards and All Good Things,

Neville :)
