I hear you're having a bad day and I really want you to be okay...
I don't know if this will help but, I'm going to give it a shot...
I made many failing attempts...
You see I bought you flowers this morning but, they wilted by noon...
Those just wouldn't do...
I bought you a box of chocolates but, they started to melt so I ate them for lunch...
I took your car to fill it up with gas but, I had a blowout and the car crashed...
I'm really sorry about that...
Don't worry I made it out okay...

I got dinner but, I fell in a pothole carrying it out and I met a cat who looked hungry so it didn't go to waste...
So here I am with a smile and...
Now you have a cat...
