Ocean View

We saw mountains,
tall giants with little snow hats,
wearing shirts of trees 
and dirt trousers.
streams like wobbly legs,
friend of birds bears and forest life.

We saw desert,
what life that lived,
the epitome of dehydration
stark landscapes,
filled with snakes vultures
and the most uncomfortable cacti.

We went many ways, and places
seeing many types of things, 
the funny thing being 
we never had an ocean view.
