• glides into polished halls
• as the young princess runs
• headlong into a fatherly Kings arms
• Indulged and spoiled beyond all reason
• this fair one is of age
• Father must give her hand in marriage
• and his heart is breaking
• the father inside cares not for protocol
• he wants to love his special girl
• and keep her innocent
• but
• she is the crown jewel of all his children
• beautiful and intelligent
• she was a prize queen in the making
• and
• a bartering tool for politics
• so
• the deal was struck
• and the prince will be arriving soon
• by elephant as was custom
• in
• India.......

• You are a Queen of love,
• The Queen's arrival is to meet,
•  And to greet thousands of her fans,
• The simple style is that
• There are no obligatory ways,
• Nor codes of behavior and style
•  - Just courtesy only
• However, many people
• Wish to observe the traditional
•  Forms of greeting.
• For men this is a neck bow,
•  From the head only;
•  Whilst women do a small courtsy.
• Other people prefer simply
•  to shake hands in the usual way.
•  the correct formal address is
• " Your Majesty " and subsequently
• followed by a word " Madam ";
• The Love Queen of Malabar
