An alley cat

from Mexico.

I have a girl friend

 called Juanito

She eees a rat

from the river rio.

It ees  weird for a cat

to be friends

 with a rat.

But I like her

And she likes Me –O.

They wont let us

hang around

they say

No rats in this town.

So I hide Juanito

In my sombrero.

I slip her a taco

As she hides

in my hat-o.

I love my rat

And she loves her cat

So happy we always

will be-o.
