Ode to Sweet Delight

You are my soda can
Approached by multitude requests
Sugar, salvation, and the rest,
However you hear no man.
You are many in one,
Round from above
But square in love.
Your spirit will not be done.
For when we meet
Your bitter bubbles pop
Hearts and minds stop
Whilst you live in sweet.
Delicate shine so fair,
Open wounds with a point
Embarrassed creaking joints
Reveal soft-stuck air.
You claim you’re poor in spectacle
But you pour a life incredible.
