Death of a golden age

Like 1 Pin it 0This heart is boundless
It is a sea at dawn
Covered by the sky at dusk
It is filled with all the pain of the earth
All the suffering children
Are screaming within this heart
And all the traumatised soldiers
Lay dead here
In their tears
Their faces covered with blood
In the shock of war
In awe of life
Entombed in caverns
As the fish in the sea
Whispers to the bird in the sky,
Come hither;
As the tear fills the ocean
This heart is filled with
The earth and the sky
In the great Babylon
And beyond
Where death awaits
Still is the heart
Dark is the night
As birth and rebirth
Kindles the flame
For life and ultimately
The death of a golden age

Hi Dear Jai,
The "Golden Age" now gives way to the "Apocalypse". The doomsday quartet ride mercilessly into our "Todays, promising sad tomorrows of oblivion". How did we let it slip away from us? How did we allow them to steal our "Golden Age"?
