Of Course I Still Love You

Of Course I Still Love You

Of course I still love you,
but the trial never ends.
Though the verdict inconclusive,
and success at times elusive.

Here I wait with baited breath...

Floating alone among the waves.
Undeterred and yet unphased.
I scoff at the depths and bow to the skies.
Step for step, ready to match you.

Though you will try to push away,
your strength will help me catch you.
For to feel the fire is no surprise;
my core cannot be warped...

Our attraction is a physical certainty.
The outcome a model of simplicity,
My offer a sigh of tranquility.
Your future a promise to all.

Of course I still love you,
today you stand tall.
