Poem -

death of my father

death of my father

That very moment the day you Died my heart was torn in two
one half Filled with Heartache The other half went with you,
And as I lay awake at night while the world was fast asleep
I talk a walk down memory lane tears fell upon my cheeks,
Remembering you is so easy and I still do every day
but missing you is a heartache that will never go away,
Ill hold you oh so tightly deep with my heart and there you will remain
Until the very joyous day arrives that we will meet again
So Ill think of you in my silence and will always speak your name
Ill hold all my precious memories and have your picture in a frame,
Dad your memory is a keepsake from which I will never part
god may have you with him in hisΒ  arms
but I will always keep you with me deep inside my heart
