Oh! Glorious Christmas Tree

Proclaiming your glory with glittering color,
your bring forth the season, a time like no other.
Your beauty is silent with colorful lights,
you stand tall and wait for a very special night.
Soon you will tower over presents so grand,
wrapped with green and red paper, it was all Santa's plan.
On Christmas day your light shines the brightest,
reaching up to Heaven and God in the highest.
A day after Christmas your lights look the same,
but have lost some luster, Christmas already came.
With this season over, Christmas is gone, your glory
has faded til next year comes along.
Our eyes were upon you, but this great season ends.
We'll see you next year when Christmas season begins.

Well thank you sir! I appreciate your comment. I looked at my tree the day after Christmas and I felt a certain emotion that needed to be put into poetry.
