~ OH, LITTLE BUDDHA ~

Come forth oh little buddha
From the quiet of the palace trees
From the shackles of religious beliefs
And breathe in the new moons air
Where the view is a given vision
Where once I saw the pope undressed
And bathing in this, the same new moon
As you and all who are awakening
At this moment all over the world
Come build that dome in the air
That dome of light where even the blind
Can learn to see
Where there is no longer a need
For that row of palace trees
But only
The garden where golden seeds
Grow to noble deeds
Come forth, Oh Little Buddha
Breathe in the new moons air
And exhale,
A new,
And glorious,
Vision....

Beautiful full of peaceful imagery and truly a remarkable amount of serenity. My mother is laid to rest in a Buddhist garden in London. I really appreciate this dear Tony.
Love every line but particularly appreciate these three...
Come forth oh little buddha
From the quiet of the palace trees
From the shackles of religious beliefs
How graciously written. 🌹

You definitely haven't lost your touch Tony... a beautiful work my friend x
A lovely peaceful flowing piece of poetry, are we already in the garden? are the poets the seeds that grow into new glorious vision?
We wait with baited breath...
