Oh little dicky bird 💕

Oh little dicky bird 💕

Hide your tiny head underneath your wet wing, you poor little thing

I can well imagine that this icy cold snow storm, will make your fluffed up feathers on your chubby chest sting

As you try to sit steadfast on that twig in the tree, it is shaking like a swing

All thru the winters wrath you have no choice but to survive, so with every bit of strength you can muster, holding tight you cling

Oh little dicky bird you are so very brave, would it not be best if you sheltered in a cave?

Each and every wintertime, when the wild winds blow, you must struggle with a close shave

And I bet you still have a hard time of it all in the summertime, as that sizzling sunshine scorches you in that hot heatwave…
