Oh mercy mercy me

Oh mercy mercy me

Barefoot on the silky sand I stroll thinking about our plight as my mind wanders away beyond the salty seas sight
How on earth can this be happening
when I look around my senses are enthralled with the screeching seagulls sound
The sun is still shining down on me from the cobalt blue sky as I think about reality with a teardrop in my eye

Mother nature is in abundance everywhere amidst this portraiture of perfection betwixt her oceanic air
Uncontrolled uncertainties lie waiting in our wake tho one could easily forget this fact as the waves roll and break
Does our Lord creator realise what is going on ? as timelessness keeps on ticking in a pandemic that is wrong
Oh mercy mercy me I wish I could turn the hands of my clock to healthier, happier days with no thoughts of deadlock
