Poem -

Oh New York

Oh New York

Sitting here wondering what we could have been

If I would have told you

If I hadn't held it in.

Would she still be

or would you be coming home to me?

We left it unspoken

and now it seems broken.

When I introduced you two

I instantly knew...

The passion within you began to grow

and she didn't even know.

You looked at me that way once before .

How I wish I had done more!

Oh New York, please keep him safe

although it is she he eagerly awaits.

I missed my chance

She captured you with just one glance.

Maybe it was fait

Or was I just too late?
