Oh the joys of life

Oh the joys of life

Amidst the subjection of seclusion betwixt this strange social distancing
My mindfulness is on a mission thinking meterage positioning
From the moment I walk out of my own front gate I am robotically in awareness of my solitary state
Constantly crossing roads and counting out my maths
Humanity is fast becoming antisocial physcopaths

‘Stay safe and apart’ always reels around in my hassled head when people are walking towards me I give them a wide berth instead
But there are times of trials with dreads of fear when some people seem ignorant and come too near
Yet they don’t get close tho I try not to be rude so I smile and do a dodge simply for our own good
Do they forget about our plight lost in their own bubble ? One cannot leave it all to trust in these times of trouble

I wonder will we ever get back to how it was before ? when the feeling of freedom was in the great outdoor
Too lose this mental awareness with anxiety and fear everytime one approaches another person and they become too near
I long for that day Oh the joys of life will be welcomed with such warmthness when we put an end to this strife
