Poem -

Oklahoma twister

The sirens blaring overhead This isn’t just for fun! Fifty One have died so far. The Death toll just begun.   Plaza towers was hit hard So was briarwood! The teachers Laid atop there kids to keep them Safe as best they could.   News reporters do not care They spread news good or bad! Father’s arms spread open wide As daughter embraces dad!   Good people have been killed  Today in this catastrophe Prayers will not cease for you We’ll pray continually!   It might seem out of line But I empathize with you I haven’t been through what you Have but my condolences go to you   20 children died today, 20 Kids we cant get back Families suffered tragic loss Of that I know is fact!   To every single victim Of this mass tragedy Were praying for you everyday & that will never cease.   Out to Oklahoma knocked Down to their knees thousands Of people volunteer to pull Victims from this raging sea   Your lives have been shattered Nothing but despair lives Of sons and daughters lost F.E.M.A cant repair You don’t know your true self Till chaos comes around Teachers gave their lives for kids their heroes in all accounts                                                                     Robert Cooper
