Poem -

On a rainy day in November.

The rain as it came down in a pitt-patt frame of mind.

It gets into your bones,

It gets into your hair.

It gets into everywhere, oh, what a shame!

On a rainy day in November.

The dancing circles in a puddle .

Dictates it's raining showers of dripping water all over the window panes,

All over the pathments,

 All over the place.

On a rainy day in November

Musical rhythmic mixing together in each single drip of raindrops.

As women with carrier bag hats on heads, trying to protect the newly done hairdos.

On a rainy day in November

The tears of the angels sent from heavenly clouds of above,

Come pouring down to drench the people as they run away from the sea of water, trying not to get wet, as the tumbling, tumbling and rumbling water came down .

On a rainy day in November

The Macs, the hooded tops, the parka coats and umbrellas of plastic and nylon all come popping out, like a magician with rabbit and hat

On a rainy day in November

It's a strain on your brain,

It's a strain on the drains

It washes your dreams away into another world!

On a rainy day in November

The streaming rivers of water all racing along the paths,

Racing along the roads of life.

Down walls from off the roofs,

the wet through look in people's eyes,

as they are caught by a rainy day in November.

The coldness it makes you feel from wetness that doesn't appeal, on a very, very rainy day in November.
