Poem -
" ON ANGER "
To attempt to extinguish anger
Is but a boast
From the stoic minded
To cage,
Such powerful emotion
Is to find yourself reminded,
That you alone,
Are not in control...
Is it not wiser
To allow the explosion,
And not to sin
In the midst of your goal,
Which is to ride the crest
Of your natural wave of emotion
And then,
To open the door to reflection
Stifling any objections,
To your God-given inclinations
Instilled in you by creation's
Divine wisdom,
And angry determination
Where God exists
And you alone
Are eaten alive,
And at long last
Comprehend,
Your own,
Anger...

Anger is more prevalent in younger people ! When you get older and have seen it all before it is less likely, unless it is a really serious matter, that you will lose self-control !!! As you become more in tune with how the world works you realize anger does not achieve anything and only delays the point where you have to consider a situation in a productive manner !!! You then decide on the best course of action to resolve the given problem or occurrence that causes concern !

Hey tony I have seen this first draft of your poem on cosmo. This one is tighter and you are always the perfectionist . Anger is something that you need not let upset you but think on and pray . You can never live your life if there is pinned up anger deep inside . A great write. Cheers rock
