On her woodland wanders 🌲

On her woodland wanders 🌲

She sits solitary, is she lonely or lost?

Theres that nip amidst the chilliness from an early morning old Jack Frost

And just a hint of raw iciness all around her as withered leaves lie wilted and embossed

But yon spring in her step has suddenly stopped at any cost..

She seems so weary from walking and a tad confused

She needs to take a little break anyways coz her walking boots are well used

Where rubbing on her ankle feels a trifle sore and bruised

Yet this pair of old battered boots cost her nothing much, second hand, so they can be excused..

Well as she hunches her knees to her chest

Shes.soaks up the autumnal atmosphere with her well earned rest

This wandering thru the woodlands was Mother nature at her very, fine best

And after standing up again, feeling refreshed, she soon found her way home again as she happily marched along with zeal and zest…
