On Love And Loss

Like "Thanatopsis"
In the majesty of the complaining brooks
A major contemplation
On death's thrombosis
Where fear begins to tear you apart
And screams,
"You cannot get wounded
when you've got no heart!"
From the tapering summits
Of divided minarets
Protecting the castles of
Love and Death
I can't stand to see you
This way
When two souls stand up
Erect and strong
The lotic movement of Love's
Curving brooks
Takes into account
Young wantonness
And the rapture felt
While in
The "Cherry Ripe"
Springtime of
Love and Loss...
