ON MY PHONE

Sickening and disturbing pictures on my phone screen 
People fighting one another both disgusting and obscene 
This is happening in my country right now 
Needs to end someway and somehow 

I agree that if you disagree you should protest
The violence that follows is what I detest 
Bricks, stones and objects being thrown 
All captured so I could see it on my phone 

As if the world isn't crazy enough as it is 
First the virus and now we have this 
This world could be beautiful I'm sure you agree 
If only people had the time to look around and see
