On Suffering And Pain
Nothing is more acceptable to God
Nor have I found anything more beneficial
In this entire world
Than being willing to suffer
While simultaneously seeking God's will
And if given a choice
It is this choice I'd prefer
For I can feel the spiritual life
Equips me
Rather than comforting my fears
With disguised consolations
And in this way I can find myself
Closer to the creator
While confidently facing
Any unexpected tribulations...
If there were anything more useful
To my salvation than suffering
I pray he would have shown me
Through His teachings glimmering simplicity
So when I wake up each day
Suffering,
With my disease's product
Pain,
I wouldn't reach out
To my doctor's prescriptions
I'd get down on my knees
And pray,
Until there were nothing left
Except...
To remain
Above the pain
In a silent meditation
With the light
Of God
Bathing
My choices
With confident
Grace
And ever growing
Strength
Of will...

Pain and suffering aren't usually welcomed, they're like unwelcomed guests. People get angry at God and misunderstand. So to hear this message- I saw faith, I saw wisdom and I could invision- God smiling down and being very pleased. I imagine Him saying something like; I think He's got it! I am well pleased with you're faith, My son.

This is a great reminder that pain, whether physical or mental, can be eased or overcome. Sure doctors/medicine can help you through physical ailments/injuries but it is God that heals. Mental and spiritual struggles can be incredibly hard too. And there is a power much greater than us or anything on this plane, a creator who loves us unconditionally. Yes pain will come and mar a happy day. Bad things will happen. To anyone. All we can do when it happens is accept, pray and hold on to hope. Thank you Tony, brother poet. Thanx SO much MICHAEL!!......I have a VERY strong connection with Metaphysics...... which has been a HUGE help to me where "Mind Over Matter" is concerned .......my condition is actually improving which doctors told me would NOT happen!!....... My study, research, and my blog on Metaphysics has led me to the source..... which is ENERGY!!...... and that understanding of how energy affects ALL THINGS has strengthened my relationship with God and "Intelligent Design"........I now find myself in a position of actually proving the doctors wrong........ FEATHERS!! You are SO friggin' cool!!......I LOVE this comment...... made me smile...... and I AM improving...... just got my Drivers License last week...... first time I've been able to drive in almost six years....... I'm just taking my first steps without a cane...... went one block last week....... having my 15th spinal surgery next month.......I'm NEVER going to give up...... went into the recording studio and did a Four song EP last month...... Cherie and Flower girl came with me...... good time had by all...... the songs sound good....... will put the finishing touches on them at the end of JULY....., so I'm keeping myself busy.....,. and focusing on positivity......anyway........Thanx SO MUĈH for making me smile girlfriend!!......LOVE to you and yours!!........Smiles........T xo ?☀✴✳♥
