ON VELVET BLACK
A Jeweled Crown

On velvet black, a jeweled crown,
Celestial lords, their gaze cast down.
Stars like diamonds, coldly bright,
Hold ancient secrets in their light.
Galaxies swirl, a cosmic dance,
A silent symphony, given chance
To echo through the endless void,
Where time itself is half-destroyed.
Nebulas bloom, ethereal haze,
Where newborn stars ignite in a maze,
Carving their paths, a fiery birth,
Lords of the cosmos, shaping the Earth.
Comets streak, with fiery trails,
Leaving behind celestial wails,
A fleeting glimpse, a burning tear,
In the vast dominion, held so dear.
Black holes lurk, with unseen might,
Devouring all in endless night,
A silent ruler, unseen hand,
Dictating fate across the land.
Yet in this grandeur, cold and vast,
A humbling beauty holds us fast,
A silent awe, a whispered prayer,
To the celestial lords, who hold us there.
