Poem -

once an angel

her eyes shone like a thousand stars
I wish they where still mine
I had those eyesΒ
my eyes used to shine and my wings paper thinΒ
but now my eyes shine no more and wings are torn to shreds
what once was a white gown is now more of a grey
the ring of gold which had float above my head float no moreI still am young
the fires of hell have bestowed this on me and while you fools are free to live I'll burn,
I'll die like those before their spirit beaten up
let it be no more, let us live, let our spirit soar
