Poem -

Once upon a forever

I once use to dream of forever. A world bright in color an songs in the air. An now the spark that once shone in my eyes has dulled. The songs have been muted an all I can hear are screams. My own silent words lashing at myself. Piece after piece breaking apart. Memories I cherished now just pull me under. My dreams have become nightmares that I live through each day.
