Lone Star

 Lone Star

So we continue
In child breath sweetness
In tiny lip wishes
Of magic still believed

And look...the utter beauty
yet
In the lone star on the tree top
set...

With glittering reverence
With aching regret
With memory stains on
One more Christmas yet

( your absence tangible in every fragile bauble placed ❤)

Marion this is clever in my humbled opinion. I get this sense of naivety in this write. There is also a loneliness by the end. A reality beyond that magic Christmas veil

just my take of course :)

I interpreted the lone star being symbolic for another entity, yet it is so magically watched, loved and put atop the tree with such affection as it marks the holiday season and all the symbolism behind what comes with the holiday,  beautiful poem ~ Rob
