Poem -

One for the other.

I once battled with the heaviness of broken pieces, keeping track of where each piece was and if it would glue back together complete
or leave a gap for the light like a keyhole, or some pretty looking glass

I decided that carrying them ment I had no room inside my hands for the things that mean the most

Not flowers but another's hand - the saving grace of flesh, the energy

That mighty healing power we hold within

Skin, to skin

It wasn't easy to let go of one for the other
But a wise choice non the less

Two hands together
Are stronger, two hearts
And minds - confess

since I placed them down all scattered, I could view the things that I had missed

Most of which fell unimportant, the moment that we kissed.
