ONE MORE TIME

On my Journey toward home...

I met a very special person who holds a story in his heart...

Two Children born four Months early Sixteen years ago...

The baby named Chase fought harder than most babies, but could only live one week...

His weaker twin whose news was graver than that of his Brother, Mason is his name...

Chase was held in the arms of his Daddy for one hour and a half...

More time than the precious five minutes they were told they had...

​​​​​​This trip had more blessings with every turn I took...

Near misses of car crashes and dogs running into the street...

I was invited to meet Mason and stay the Weekend...

He says a few words which he repeats...

He can't sit without support...

He can't hold a sippy cup and he can't walk...

He recently lost his eye sight because the law said the treatment that could have helped was illegal...

People voted against it once again...

The sound of his laugh is seldom heard...

Blowing me kisses is the sweetest sound and the best feeling he gives to my heart...

He hasn't stopped smiling since we met and he turns his head shyly when I call him a Flirt...

My time to leave is getting closer and, they're coming up with many different excuses why I can't leave yet...

Mason will join his Brother perhaps they will be the twins that will run and play, fall in love and they are twins together once again...

If they could have One More Time, may they receive the blessings they were...

For Mason who turns 17 Years old next month and Chase the Baby who will always be Remembered...
