Poem -

One of many souls

Forgive the passion
I have for words
And front me not with knives, I am but one
Of many souls
With hopes of saving lives

I wish the world could understand both humans and animals feel pain

The greatest test in all of this, like drought
The land it cries for rain

If love and compassion
Grew like flowers
Watered by each heart as one,

Could you then image how beautiful the view
Beneath the moon
And sun.
