One of the Wolves

One of the Wolves

I guess you could say
I grew up with the wolves

Where I'd lay
I was misunderstood

I was alone as a kid
I didn't have people
Like many did
But I had a friend

A dog I'd die for
All over again

I learned their behavior
I learned their loyalty
And that will remain
Inside of me
All throughout
Eternity

Yeah, I guess you could say
I am one of the wolves
But who else do you know
That could?

I didn't have a family
But I did have my pack
So to all the mean ones out there,
Take that

I learned their love
And was born in the grove
I took back
What others stole

So if someone askes me
Who's my family?
I'll say the wolves
And the look they give
Will be kinda funny
But that's because
I'm misunderstood
