One of those bad dreams

I was blinded by the lights as I ran along a road by a ten tonne truck with a heavy load..and as it raced like a rocket speeding far too fast, I was soaked to the skin as it sped on past..

It was raining cats and dogs and I was the drowned rat, as the wagon ploughed through a deep puddle I had nowhere to scat..My motor had broke down on a quiet country lane, yet he was driving like a demon in disguise and in the pouring rain..But I blinked my eyes from his headlight beams, this reminded me of a nightmare it was one of those bad dreams..

I thanked the Lord that I was still alright when that artic was gone out of my sight.. but then as I was stopped trying to catch my breath I listened to a loud colossal bang that almost scared me to death..”Ohh  please God no” I heard myself saying saying though I knew what had happened and it was a waste of time praying..Well I started running in an awful panicked state and before I turned around a corner I met that wagons fate..

An oncoming car had been taking his time, the conditions of the road was a sludgy slime.. and when they saw the truck driver lose control with their headlamps dipped, they watched as the heavy wagon overturned and flipped..If only that driver hadn’t been in such a hurry, now he had left his loved ones with grief and worry..and his artic ten tonne truck was no more, just a mangled up wreckage down an embankment floor..
