Poem -

One Thing Only

he rakes the sunlight from his hair
removes the sparkles from his eyes
his eyes and ears he places down
he does this gladly with no frown
his feet he lays with gentle hands
he rests them with his legs, his arms
he does all this without a frown
he softly lays his whole self down

arranges it quite still, in piles
remembers fondly all the miles
then leaves it lone and resting fine
takes one thing only home...his smile

Smiles are the most important meetings between people ✌️
